2020 PTK Catalyst Educational Forum Call for Proposals
Educational Forums are an integral part of the PTK Catalyst programming. These informative break-out sessions cover a variety of topics and give attendees the opportunity to broaden horizons personally and within Phi Theta Kappa. PTK offers 5 different tracks; each track is described below.
Individuals with and without a PTK affiliation are invited to apply. Advisors and college employees are welcome to include current members as co-presenters, but individual submissions from current members will not be considered. You can submit as many proposals as you like, but all proposals must be received by January 1, 2020.
Sessions will be 40 minutes long and should be highly interactive.
Successfully delivered Educational Forums will incorporate instructional techniques with the purpose of engaging attendees in the content of the session with a collaborative activity such as facilitated whole-group discussions, role-playing, concept application, and similar techniques to engage participants in active learning during the session.
Please note: All session materials must be received by March 18, 2020. They will be uploaded into the PTK Catalyst mobile app and will be available to all attendees. If you plan to distribute hard copies of your presentation, you are responsible for those copies.
All presenters must register to attend PTK Catalyst and secure accommodations.
